Market at the Lighthouse

Today was, unfortunately, a bust… The Market at the Lighthouse was held today on Tybee Island. I hoped that with the great weather, there would be tons of people passing through. While there was some foot traffic, it was mostly locals and I didn’t make any money on my scentic photographs. Looks like this will be my last time as a vendor for this trade show.

I did wind up buying a hat for myself and one for my hubby though… 😉 But all in all, I met some friendly people and got some reading done. On to the next adventure. Later this week I will be posting a new Engagement session so check back for pics!

A Career Change

Hello! And welcome to my new blog!

I have been pursuing my love of photography for a couple of years now and I finally feel like I am beginning the career path I was always meant to do. I got my BA in Interior Design in 2006 and began working at a Kitchen and Bath Design Studio in Atlanta right out of college. I loved my job but when the economy took a nose dive, so did most of the design industry.

My husband and I got married in July of 2009 and his job transferred us to Savannah. We love it down here and have enjoyed the change of scenery from the busy city. It has also given me the opportunity to pursue my love of photography.

It began as a hobby and has bloomed into a job that I actually look forward to. I enjoy taking pictures of people, whether they be my family, friends, or people I just met. I also like to photograph my travels with my hubby. We love to travel and I like being able to capture memories we can look back on with our kids one day. I look forward to capturing those memories for you and your family to cherish too.
